Water Supply Connection Services

Mombasa Water has the mandate to providing cost effective and affordable quality water and sanitation services to the residents of Mombasa County. In discharging the mandate the company is expected to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Provide quality and economical water and sanitation services to consumers.
• Billing for water and sanitation services and ensure timely collection of dues.
• Routinely maintain water and sanitation services and infrastructure.
• Ensure that standards and licensing requirements are compiled with as stipulated by the Service Provision Agreement (SPA) signed with Coast Water Services Board.

If you’re building a new home, office block or factory, or moving into existing premises, you’ll need to know how to apply for water and sanitation connections.

For fresh water domestic connections, a deposit of Kshs.1,500 (single family) and a connection fee of Kshs.2,500 is paid while for commercial connections fixed deposit can be up to Kshs.50, 000.
