We would like to inform our esteemed customers that there is a shut down on the Mzima pipeline, to facilitate repairs of a burst pipe section at Mwembeni.

Consequently, normal water supply as per our distribution programme will be interrupted.

This will affect mostly the wider west mainland areas including Miritini, Mikindani, Jomvu, Magongo and Changamwe.

Normal water supply shall resume as soon as repair works on the said site, are completed.

We sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused.

08.01.2021: Mzima Shutdown

Consequently, normal water supply as per our distribution programme will be interrupted to facilitate repair works on the said site.
This will affect mostly the wider west mainland areas including Miritini, Mikindani, Magongo, Changamwe and Jomvu.
Normal water supply shall resume as soon as repair works are completed.
We sincerely apologize for inconvenience caused.

Gazette Notice No. 10541 Mombasa water

APP ROVED TARIFF STRUCTURE FOR THE PERIOD 2023/2024 TO 2025/2026 
Mombasa Water Supply and Sanitation Company (MOWASSCO ) applied to the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) for a review of tariffs for water services, for the period 2023/2024 to 2025/2026 as per section 72 (I) (b) of the Water Act 2016. 
Public consultation on the application was carried out in accordance with the requirements of section 139 of the Water Act, 2016. 
After considering the application, the written and oral submissions by all stakeholders during the consultation period, and based on latest available data, WASREB has determined an upward tariff review for MOWASSCO is justified to improve service delivery, operate sustainably and protect consumer interests by meeting the tariff conditions attached to the tariff. 
WASREB gives a one (I) months' notice to all existing and potential customers of MOWASSCO that the approved tariffs for the three financial years, 2023/2024, 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 shall be as follows:

Notice of Tariff Adjustment for Mombasa Water

Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) has approved the tariff for water and sanitation services provided by Mombasa Water Supply and Sanitation Co. Ltd., in accordance with its mandate under Section 72(b) of the Water Act 2016. 
You are required to review and comply with the tariffs and conditions outlined in the Gazette Notice No. 10541, which was published in Kenya Gazette Vol CXXV - No. 180 on 11th Aug 2023. Failure to comply with these tariffs and conditions may result in penalties as provided by the Water Act 2016. 
WASREB expects immediate compliance with this directive.
